There is no admission fee to enter the market, and it accepts credit/debit cards and SNAP EBT food benefit cards. If you have a SNAP EBT card, you can get matching dollar tokens for fruit, produce and food-producing plants. This program enables you to get up to $25 in tokens each market day. Additionally, members of Fayette County Farm Bureau can use a five-dollar coupon at the market.

Veterans’ Memorial

In Washington Court House, Ohio, there is a Veterans’ Memorial. It honors those who fought in the Civil War and served their country. During the first World War, Woodrow Wilson said that the war would end all wars, but he was wrong. The memorial was dedicated on Armistice Day, 1974. The second is dedicated to the servicemen and women of Fayette County who died in World Wars I, II, Korea, and Vietnam.

The market is held on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The city has several hotels and motels in the area. The County Veteran Service Office helps veterans and their families by providing emergency financial assistance and employment assistance. The office also helps veterans find transportation for medical treatment. Additionally, it handles memorial affairs and applications for VA benefits. It is a good place for veterans to meet and network with others in the community.

Visitors should also visit the Deer Creek State Park, a natural park that offers a variety of recreational activities, including hiking trails and an 18-hole course. The park also has a lake that is perfect for swimming and fishing. In the winter, the lake is even open for ice fishing. In addition, there are fishing derby events held here as well. Nearby Eyman Park features a playground and a vintage steam train.
